Ford’s Bronco lineup comprised some of America’s most iconic SUVs that brought a confluence of workmanlike capability and family friendly practicality to the average automotive buyer. From 1966 to 1996, the Bronco ran over five generations, and there was much sadness when the blue oval discontinued the nameplate. Come 2021, and Detroit debuted the sixth generation Bronco, after a 25-year gap. Just check out this 2021 Ford Bronco Advanced 4×4 First Edition Lightning Blue Metallic 4 Door. Being a First Edition, it’s going to be quite desirable as time goes by.
Exterior and Interior
Ford was faced with a Herculean task when designing the new Bronco, as they had to meld modern design language with historical throwbacks to its namesake. They’ve done a good job, as many agree. This 2021 Ford Bronco Advanced 4×4 First Edition Lightning Blue Metallic 4 Door showcases Ford’s efforts in a Lightning Blue Metallic shade and butch 17-inch aluminum bead lock wheels shod with Goodyear LT315/70R17 M/T tires. The hard top is molded in color too. First Edition Sasquatch badges demarcate this Bronco as such. On the driver’s door, you’ll find the keyless entry keypad just above the door handle. The interior of this Bronco wears a black color scheme. Five occupants can be accommodated in its cabin, on leather seats. Being a First Edition, it receives the Equipment Group 954A – First Edition Series package. A B&O sound system with navigation encompasses the infotainment options. There’s also a sound-deadening headliner and storage bags for the top and door. Other toys include dual-zone climate control, charging ports at the front and rear, digital instrument cluster, drive selector via knob, and buttons for actuating diff locks.
Engine
This 2021 Ford Bronco Advanced 4×4 First Edition Lightning Blue Metallic 4 Door is powered by a 2.7L EcoBoost twin-turbocharged V6 that sends drive to the wheels via a ten-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. You can select on-the-fly between 2WD, 4WD high, 4WD low and 4WD auto modes using the ‘GOAT Modes’ selector knob in the cabin. There’s also an engine block heater installed for aiding cold starts.
